Petr Koráb - Živá hora - Fruit Juice - One Liter Is Just Right

Fruit Juice is Petr's summer party bottle that clocks in at a respectable 12% abv. It is a wine of ease and whimsy but like all of Petr's wines there are subtle charms to stimulate the attentive drinker. Most notably from the inclusion of the Hibernal, a disease resistant PIWI hybrid that it is a cross between Rhine Riesling and a whole bunch of non vinifera genetics crossed in 1944. Here it lends an intriguing spicy note that in pure form would be excessive but in Fruit Juice, lends the wine the pithiness of a summer ripened peach. Like all of Petr's lighter wines, it is best to have more than a few bottles on hand.
